As Juliana packs her bags, getting ready to head home.. I decided it would be a good time to post some more pictures.

Last week we went on a “Desert Safari”.  In my opinion, the pictures don’t do the actual desert justice.  There was something really peaceful about a huge, empty, quiet desert that probably can’t be seen through our pictures. But we did our best 🙂

So, part of this Desert Safari adventure I obviously overlooked when booking was “Dune Bashing”.  To me dune bashing meant you ride over some sandy hills in the desert and that’s the end. Yippee YAY, the kids probably like that part.

No… No, no, no.  Dune Bashing is hurdling your SUV, top heavy car over mountains of sand trying so hard to flip the car! Or roll it, or crash into another dune bashing car, or have a car full of passengers that are passed out due to extreme confusion!

Ok, maybe I was the only one left with this terrible fear and frustration with the dune bashing. The ride may have been “fun” for the other passengers. Fine. But I think that’s the last time I’ll be involved in such an activity. Unless I’m driving.

Moving on… Below is the camp they brought us to after the sunset. This was fun. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and there was plenty to do.
