For those of you that are not celebrating, I hope you find food today. I remember shortly after I met Wafiq I was in Minnesota celebrating Christmas with my family & my phone blew up on Christmas Eve. All his friends asking why everything was closed & where they were supposed to eat. They were in college & ate OUT every single day. So here’s to finding food!
Last year I spent Christmas Eve at a mosque, & this Christmas I’m eating leftover turkey, getting cozy with Bernice, then heading to the movie (again) w my Wafiq! The spice of variety. No two Christmases the same it seems.
Soak up this sweet time, there’s nothing better than holidays no matter where you are. No matter the beliefs. The New Year is right around the corner so let us enjoy these last few days before we kiss sweet 2018 behind.
