I can hardly call it fair to tell the guys how NOT to approach a woman without giving the women a little accountability as well. As much as women want to push off the pressure to connect, we have some responsibility in our own matching making too.
Once upon a time… there was a very smart man that made the best realization for mankind. He discovered women had superpowers. And he knew the man could not compete. So he did what he had to do in order to get on top. He convinced the entire population, women’s superpowers were instead: weaknesses.
I was going to sneak this into a short Instagram caption but then decided it ALL needs to live here. It’s been weighing on me. And, in light of trying to stay off social media, this seemed like the right place to share.

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed w the park. Any park. I consider time at the park my second home. Not only is it necessary to walk my dog, it always makes me feel better when I’m outside in a big open green area on the planet earth.

Let LOVE prevail. This was challenging you guys. I’m not a big cheesy love quote person, I’m actually very far from it. There are few romantic quotes that speak to me, but in my relationship, it’s hard to take most romantic quotes seriously.
I LOVE YOU. I mean it. I’ve been quietly mentioning all month how my word of the year is: LOVE. I’m not sure if having a word of the year is a thing or not, but it felt right. 2019, living with the word LOVE at the front of my mind?
I wouldn’t consider myself a quote junkie, but I do have a few that I reference as a quick reminder. If you find a few quotes that motivate & support you – you’ll always have a backbone to fall on when you lose focus.

OMG it’s my birthday & I would love a solid cry. Not because I’m getting older. Because last year…sucked. I want to cry it away, cry it’s frustrations out, just cry. But after that, smile. Aggressive mood swing. But it’s over.
YAY! It’s officially 2019. It’s here, we made it! And another year bites the dust. Is anyone ready to get back to their regularly scheduled program with work & food? All the sugar & extra meals can get annoying. I made a Pecan Pie & literally cut it in half for Wafiq & I to split. Excuse me while I vomit.
