3 Affordable Spring Dresses You Can Wear to Work

Whether we want to admit it or not, we dress most often for the office. Not ideal, but reality.  As tempted as I was to share my favorite glitter spring dresses w rainbow stripes & a low back – I restrained.  Instead, I’m sharing 3 dresses you can wear to the office & still feel Spring fresh!

All 3 of these dresses are great for work.  Not too low, covering the shoulders, below the knee, color neutral & comfortable!  I may be known to push the boundaries w outfits I’ve worn to dinner or parties but the office is NOT a place I’ve ever done that.  I could be wearing a potato sack & my boss would have still asked me what bikinis I was packing for my beach vacation (?!?).  These dresses will have you covered, literally & figuratively.

Also! Pay attention to sales at all 3 of these retailers – they happen often so you might be able to pick them up for a discount.  Although, they’re all priced really well already so you may not want to wait for a sale before you grab them! YAY! (I’m really excited about these you guys.)

3 Affordable Spring Dresses You Can Wear to Work

One:

Express Tulip Printed Ruffle Sleeve Wrap Hi-Lo Maxi Dress:  I tried this dress on & knew it would be a pretty fit that I would love.  I was already sold on the tulip print.  The sleeve detail sets it apart from other, similar styles you’ll see at several retail stores because it sinches & creates a cute, puffed shoulder rather than a wavy one.  I prefer a shoulder like this because it helps define the arm, I’m excited about this.  I knew I could depend on Express to find a pretty dress for work, I have several others from previous seasons that I love & still wear.  You’ll love this dress!  A little tip, when shopping for floor length maxi dresses consider trying a hi-lo dress style to avoid any chance of looking like you’re wearing maternity.  If you know, you know.  *Tip – I always size way down in Express clothing.  If you’ve ever struggled fitting into their styles, try the dresses in a size or 2 down from your regular.*

Two:

Black Dots Waist-Defined Ruffle-Sleeve Maxi:  This dress answered all my dress goals for the season & I’m literally shocked I found it at Old Navy.  My mouth dropped when I tried it on.  I went everywhere!  Online & in-store looking for an ankle length polka dot print dress.  That’s what I wanted.  I couldn’t find anything where the price matched the style matched the quality – until I tried on this one. From Old Navy!? Believe it.  I love the length, hitting right above the ankle & the way it hugs my waist & falls down my body.   The fabric is very lightweight & soft, making it perfect for a Texas summer.  The other bonus?  The price!  Right now it’s $30?!  I’m obsessed w this dress & it was totally worth the hunting to find it.

Three:

And Other Stories Embroidered White Eyelet Ruffled Dress:  You can never go wrong w a white, spring dress – especially one with embroidery like this one.  I feel like it’s a staple for everyone’s closet.  Not only can you wear it to work, you can wear it to an early date night, spring get-togethers,  girls night, brunch, or a bbq at the park (unless uu hug your dog like me).   I’ve had 493 dresses v similar to this one throughout my life & am always looking to add a few more to the collection.  LOVE this one.  And you all know how I feel about this brand & the color white, obviously I’m all in on this purchase.

I’m excited about all of these dresses!  The print, the fabric, the style – all total winners & perfect for the office OR a cute night out.  If I was wearing them to the office, I would wear a white sneaker or loafer for a subtle pop.  However, they could easily be worn w a pretty heel too!

(I might have to share a few of the other, more glamorous spring dresses I tried on while on the hunt for these.  It’s only fair, right?  There’s one in particular that I had to buy, ugh I’m annoying like that.)

Tell me, does anyone have any Spring trips planned?  Remember how badly I wanted to go back to the East Coast this Spring?  It came too fast! I didn’t have enough time to think about planning it & now Spring is almost over.  Hopefully, I can get a weekend trip planned in the summer. Guys – time?  It’s going fast.

Ok, have a great weekend!  If you’re suffering from allergies, buy flonase.  Trust me.

Love u.  Mean it. Bye.

Please be thoughtful,

Xx
