Happy Halloween | 2018

Did You Know?  The top 5 trending Halloween costumes in 2018 according to Google are: 1. Fortnite  2. Spider-Man  3. Unicorn  4. Dinosaur 5. Witch (via)

I took 1 photography class & world don’t stop my now!  I needed a few pictures for a redesign I’m working on & realized how expensive a picture or 2 from a professional can end up costing.  Not to discount photographer’s credit, because I absolutely love & appreciate exceptional photos, BUT I can’t rationalize that for myself at the moment.   Families, kids, babies, dogs even – YES!  But me?!  Hmmm…  Especially since all my blog posts & Instagram use photos – can you imagine if I paid for every single one?

I decided to invest in myself, I have a nice camera so why not figure out how to use it.  Seek the pros for photo advice.  After my class, it’s as if all the dots connected & this photography thing made sense.  Not made sense like I can now take professional photos, but made sense as to how creative photography can be & how one single photo can have so many creative layers.  I was honestly dreading the class, viewing it more of a chore than choice, but now I can’t wait to go learn more!

I’ve been wanting to do a fun Halloween look but had no where to wear it, so decided to go for it myself & try taking fun pictures afterwards – which is what we did!  I consider this look the biker skeleton.  I really wanted to do crazy hair, edgy, skeleton, with a little sparkle.  Like scary but pretty.  FUN right? I really want to master some sort of mohawk, I have a vision, but I haven’t been able to pull it off… yet.  Stay tuned.

The other look is supposed to be mom skeleton.  Likeee if you look at me from the back with 2 kids you would never know when we turn around we’re SKELETONS!  YUMMY! My dog seemed on board w this as well but I couldn’t figure out how to paint her fur so we left her out of the photos – however, in them via spirit & support.

If you didn’t dress up, you still have time to have a little fun with it!  Google a few makeup ideas that look interesting, then go for it!  And if nothing else, and no where to go – snap a picture & call it a HALLOWEEN!

I just landed back home in Austin & am totally ready for sunshine, WORK, and extra doggie time. And have I mentioned how much I love home cooked meals?  One of the cons to travel is having to find food everywhere you go that matches your diet! Errrrr! Happy to be back eating my own, home made food 🙂

HAPPY HALLOWEEN to ALL! Muuuuhahahahaha

Be thoughtful today & always

Xx
