I’m definitely going hard on the crazy cat lady {but actually dog lady} status lately.  I recently gave you 3 tips to raising a naughty puppy, into a sweetie dog.  Then, celebrated my Bernice’s birthday, and now I’m dropping the dog food & treat bomb on you too.  What can I say, no human kids to exploit, I work with what I have.

Where the fuck was this website the past 7 years?  Bernice recently turned 7 & I’ve been lugging her huge 100 lbs food bag in from the pet store, up to my apartment for what feels like decades.  You’re trying to tell me a 2-day, free shipping, delivery service is available? F me.

Chewy.com is the shit.  I use it for my dog but you can also buy your pet horse treats too.

You have to spend $50 to get free 2 day shipping, but what bag of food isn’t $50? So you’ll qualify right away.  Screw carrying that huge bag of food from the store, I’ll get my workout in other ways.   I already buy everything else online; between Asos, Nordstrom and Amazon Prime – I rarely have to leave my house.  Why not throw in dog supplies as well. My last order was placed Friday morning & I received my delivery Saturday afternoon…?!   YES PLEASE.

Bernice turned 7 this week & it was a reminder that I made the best decision of my life 7 years ago.  I was a single girl, just getting into the (shitty) workforce, and was a little reckless.  She taught me responsibility & a love I hadn’t experienced yet.  She also gave me the purpose that I needed.  And she still gives me that little push of motivation every single day.  I know a lot of people stress the reasons not to get a dog in your young 20’s, I remember that well.   But I can’t think of a better time to take on the responsibility.  Before kids, right after college, when it’s just you.
