My Ride Or Die Body Moisturizer

Body moisturizer might not sound like a big deal to the average person, but that’s because they haven’t found the right one. I used to be like them – going about my life worrying about the right color lip gloss for my day, to wear flats or heels, what time I was going to sleep – but then I discovered a key part of my day to day activities: body moisturizer.

Let me back up, I have incredibly dry skin. Don’t we all? Especially in the winter, shaving your legs, exfoliating your skin… Body moisturizer is an absolute must. I’m heavily working on getting Wafiq into the moisturizing routine because he was blessed with such perfectly bronze skin, he really needs to maximize this gift by moisturizing daily & emphasizing it’s glow. I’ve been strategically placing moisturizer everywhere, in hopes.

THIS body lotion is it folks. The end. Game over. You’ll never buy another. NIVEA ESSENTIALLY ENRICHED BODY LOTION. I first heard about it from Desi Perkins YouTube Channel (check her out) & went on the quest myself. Whenever I’m not connected to my own personal favorite of something, I’m always looking to find the best…

For example, it’s hard to make me like another lipstick because I’m OBSESSED with the Beautycounter Sheer Lipstick (here). It’s also hard to get me to try another foundation because I’m in LOVE with the Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Foundation (here). When people mention others, I’m hard to persuade, because how could it possibly be better than the best? I’ve found the best already. However, when I’m not committed to something – I’m Dora The Explorer with products. Give them all to me.

So here we have it. NIVEA Essential Enriched Body Lotion. I’m hooked. And I’m committed.

First of all, and most importantly, this body lotion gives your skin a big ass drink of cool water & it’s delicious. Moisturizing heaven. Besides that, it soaks in quickly. Although the lotion is pretty thick, it soaks in before you have a chance to think twice. And it IMMEDIATELY makes your skin look dewy, awake, moisturized, & glowing. I don’t know how, but it has this way of making your skin glow subtly.   And no fancy smells, grease, heaviness, or tons of money. Just badass moisturizer. Simple in the best way.

Alright, I’ve been freaking busy, like all of you. (I absolutely hate when people say they’re busy. Like who isn’t? Aren’t we all busy? And the worst – when they proceed to tell you why & how they’re so busy. Umm yes me too thanks.   If you’re not busy you’re not doing something right, right?)
