And we’re back! With more MENS clothing! It doesn’t get any more exciting than this, honestly.
As I mentioned last month, my goal is to start throwing in a Men’s Clothing post the 1st Friday of the month. I enjoy dressing Wafiq & often dream of styling guys. Specifically, every time I hear a single guy complain about not getting a girlfriend. Good style can help, a lot. There’s so much missed potential with a man’s style. There’s not a lot of inspiration for the dudes – so I wanted to throw mine in the mix! Why not?!
Men’s Clothing Picks – v2
Patigonia Capilene® Midweight Base Layer Tights: I thought long underwear would only be cool to a 4-year-old child, but call me WRONG. Long underwear is the blessing sent from God on a cold day. They’re comfy & a guy doesn’t know what he’s missing until he has a pair. These ones look warm & uber comfortable. I think a great addition to the closet come the cooler weather days ahead. I think they’d be warm to lounge in before sweet bedtime too 🙂
Ted Baker London Travic Mid Chelsea Boot: I’m in love with the design of these boots, true love. I like how totally classic they are but with a subtle pattern on the panel of the boot. The little detail makes all the difference, especially in Men’s clothing it’s all about minor detailing. {I think.} Also, they’re 40% off right now, making them tastier. I would tell Wafiq to wear these with a slimmer jean or pant so they don’t swallow the boot completely. They’re too cool for that.
ALPHA INDUSTRIES Ridge Utility Jacket: I THINK, guys enjoy wearing camo the same way girls enjoy wearing leopard… No? It just so happens that I also love the camo pattern if done right – similar to leopard print. Another thing guys enjoy? Comfort. This jacket is the perfect mix of both. Bonus, looks nice enough for me to borrow – that’s another thing to keep in mind. The girls like sharing.
Timberland M.T.C.R. Moc Toe Sneaker Boot: These boots are fucking cool. I pray they’re comfortable because then they’re a total win with nothing left behind as failure. Here’s what I like about these beautiful feet coverings. They’re a slight mix between sneaker & boot. And they have a thick white sole which makes people look longer, more complete. That small detail makes a difference, go figure.
Old Navy Frost Free Puffer Vest: The ultimate vest of the seasons isn’t exclusive to the girls, it happens to be the best vest for the guys as well! Wafiq & I compete for who gets to wear it out because of course wearing it together looks too matchy-matchy (can’t say we haven’t done it 1,083x tho). This vest looks handsome. Bro, but not too much bro. Cool guy style. Vests are tricky on guys, they can look super frat boi bro lyfe really quickly, but this Old Navy vest passes all tests & is a complete win at a great price point.
I’m absolutely LOVING men’s clothing you guys. Like SO much it’s not normal. I love dressing Wafiq every day more than myself, it’s an issue because he gets complimented while I look like I got out of bed 5 minutes ago. I’ll take it though, my heart flutters when people compliment what he’s wearing so it’s a win/win situation. I’ll be back with this post next month so stay tuned for more MENS.
