Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned the past 3+ years comes from small talk. Usually, small talk occurs with people you don’t know very well but need to quickly fill the silence. Well, those conversations added up to these big lessons.
Trying to stay positive during the dark winter is challenging. The urge to go to bed at 6:30pm is real. I’ve seriously contemplated that idea, ultimately realizing I would end up waking up at 10pm as my body would think I was taking a nap.
What a crazy few weeks it’s been! Do you know what’s annoying though? People who say they’re busy.

Welcome sweet October! I saw a quote on Instagram today that said “Fall is a reminder that change can be beautiful.” Change is something I’ve always made effort to put in my life, but it’s my least favorite feeling. No matter how often, even good change, makes me cry.
Anxiety? Let’s talk about it. There are millions of reasons to HATE anxiety & it’s taken me a million years to get to this conversation, but there are a few reasons you should allow yourself to be friends with those anxious thoughts. Yes, friends.
STRESS. In the world today we have this understanding that a high level of stress is normal, or at the very least, acceptable. We’re almost rewarded for talking about our hustle, or our heavy workload. Recently, I’m decided to challenge that mindset with stress management.
I haven’t been as consistent as usual so I thought a little life chats post to catch up & check in would be fun. After all the Amazon is on fire & the bees are dead so this might be my last chance.
This post is for anyone struggling with anxiety & has had someone tell them, they get nervous too. When I used to toss the word anxious around, I had no idea what true anxiety meant. I associated anxious, with nerves. But they’re very different for a lot of people.
