The Nordstrom Sale is my excuse to shop there! Nordstrom is not my number 1 place to shop throughout the year, but come the anniversary sale, seeing all the fashion bloggers talk about it, I get major FOMO.

I’m a professional SALE shopper. I don’t like wearing the same outfit everyday because I like shopping, therefore I don’t want to spend major money on 1 sweater. I’ll feel like I need to wear the sweater 246 days in a row to make sense of the purchase.

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is all the rage because it’s brand name & new items w discounts. You won’t have to dig through racks of damaged clothes or items from last season – the sale is all new, trending, and ready for fall. Mmmmmmmkay.

My thoughts on the Nordstrom Sale? Look for the major savings. Get those brand name pieces you wouldn’t typically purchase, that you’ll use/wear for a long time, and stop at that.

1. Tory Burch Marsden Pebbled Leather Tote:
I need a tote like this for my everyday work. I bought one last year at the sale & used it every. single. day. I’m always throwing a notebook & computer in my bag – not to mention snacks, layers, & water bottles. These items get me through a busy day, so I need a big purse. Having something classic that doesn’t look like your dog peed on it is essential & easily makes you look put together. You’ll definitely get your money worth here because you’ll be using it daily. If big isn’t your thing, they have a smaller version too (here).

2. Vince Camuto Kochelda Over the Knee Boot:
There are a lot of classic boots w major savings during the Nordstrom Sale & it’s a good time to make an investment on a pair if you’ve been waiting to buy. Cooler weather is right around the corner & there’s nothing like a good boot. You can & will want to wear them everyday – again getting your money worth. If you try to buy a good boot while it’s in season, it’s going to cost you a lot more money than it is right now. This boot is classic, & I love the detail of the uneven top – adds a perfect touch. Also comes in other colors.

3. Lana Jewelry Blake Double Strand Y-Necklace:
I think I’m getting very close to the age that I can trust myself with decent jewelry. I love Lana jewelry & I went to check out this necklace in person the other day – it’s everything I expected. The way the piece reflects lighting gives the necklace an extra sparkle that really makes Lana jewelry stand out. The dainty style & drop down detail is perfection!

4. Barefoot Dreams(R) ‘In the Wild’ Throw:
I always get at least one item for my home & a big cozy blanket like this one is what I have my eye on this year. Typically, I wouldn’t spend that amount on a blanket, but while it’s on sale I can’t help but want to add this blanket to my living room or bedroom collection. A fresh blanket can really help any room feel more cozy so for that reason alone, I’d have to consider it! If you haven’t heard of Barfeoot Dreams before, you’re missing out. They carry the ultimate softest pieces of clothing & blankets of all time. Like wearing a big, fluffy cloud.

5. Topshop Long Open Front Cardi:
I also load up on cardigan’s during the sale because I wear cardigans year round. A really good, cozy cardigan can be expensive full price, that’s especially true during sweater season. The Nordstrom Sale has a lot of cozy cardigans this year so you’ll be sure to find something that you’ll happily wear all year long! This one in particular is calling my name for so many reasons. It’s over sized & cozy. Plus, it has bell sleeves & can cover your butt to keep you extra warm when it gets cooler. You can also let it drape off your shoulders if you get too hot. I want one in every color if I’m being honest. The grey, oat, and PINK?! GIMMIE!
