10 Winter Season Treasures For Your Closet

I’m so proud of these fall & winter finds!  They’re pretty much all affordable & I think they would bring a great refresh to the clothing you already have in the closet, an addition if you will.  No need to throw anything out, let’s just add to it.

You know?  Sometimes having 3 friends & a Muslim partner works in your favor.  There’s a significantly less amount of pressure to buy anything for anyone come holiday season.  Wafiq barely understands Christmas & my few friends are the sweetest on the planet & require minimal attention during the holidays.  Of course, my cute family is considered but they’re small in numbers & Wafiqs family doesn’t celebrate.  What does all of this mean?  More shopping for ME, Myself & I. :). I don’t mind admitting that brings joy to my ears.

Here we go with my recent browsing.  You want winter pieces to add to your closet?  Feeling blah with the items you already have?  Wanting to blow a little money from your last check to perk up the mood?  I got you…

10 Winter Season Treasures for Your Closet:

  1. H&M Love Sweatshirt: LOVE?!  Loveee.  I decided I’ll wear anything that says LOVE on it or has a heart.  ‘Tis the year.  If I could, I’d require this to be the human being uniform.  I have this sweatshirt already & feel like it was meant for me… & all of us.  They’re only $10 so it’s not really a debated item if you ask me.
  2. Old Navy Soft Brushed Crewneck Sweater in Buffalo Plaid: I don’t understand how Old Navy can be SO good, so often.  I almost always find something cozy.  I saw this sweater in-store & was immediately impressed with the color & quality.  It doesn’t look cheap.  I think it would be a perfect holiday sweater that you could wear with jeans or dress up with a skirt or pants & it would leave people guessing where you got it (except me, I would know).
  3. Emerald City Pleat Skirt: What a pretty holiday season skirt option!  You could dress it down with a plain old t-shirt or crewneck sweatshirt, I think that would work.  Or dress it up with a fitted blacktop or bodysuit?  Or red?  You can wear it with tights & a boot when it’s too chilly outside – you can make it work.
  4. Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater:  Express is a great place to go for winter sweaters, I rarely get rid of a sweater from Express even when I’ve worn them 1,600 times through the winter seasons.  They last a long time & they’re super comfortable.  Having said that, this ribbed turtleneck is my favorite purchase from last year.  I have the ivory color but I have my eye on the black one.  They’re comfortable, soft, and snug on the body just the way you want it, without stretching out.  Obsessed with it & I consider a winter closet staple.
  5. Old Navy Flannel Pajama Sets in Green Plaid: I’m a HUGE pajama set fan, that’s something I learned about myself this year.  If you can get yourself to buy a pajama set & wear it before bed?  It’ll change your sleep, trust me.  A nice pajama set will tell your brain it’s time to relax & get ready for a delicious night of rest.  And now is the season to stalk up, because it’s Christmas time & stores are annoying like that.  I love these green ones from Old Navy!  They have a few different pieces & fabrics so you can mix & match shorts, leggings, sweats, & tops all in the same color pattern.  (Shiiii, you can get some for the whole family in the same color pattern for under 50 bucks.)
  6. Zara Faux Fur Jacket: This jacket deserves a place holder.  I instantly fell in love with it because I imagine the jacket as elegant as the holiday season feels.  Pair with whatever dresses you’re wearing, tights & a boot?  It’s pretty in an understated way.  The sizes are going to sell out on this beauty so go get it if you want it.
  7. UGG Montara Insulated Winter Boots:  I LOVE these boots!  I had a pair like this in college!  I would wear them around in 70-degree weather because there’s no winter in Texas & I had yet to confront that realization.  The height of these boots doesn’t consume your leg, making your limbs appear longer!  They look like you’re walking in a warm marshmallow.  I want these.
  8. Cable Knit Boot Socks: Do you guys buy your boots a 1/2 size up?  You should, that’s how you’re able to wear your thicker socks in the winter.  If you buy socks that are higher like these, you can scrunch them down to the top of your ankle boot & pair with leggings.  That’s a look.   High socks that are comfortable & cute without any holes are a wintertime staple.
  9. Lucy Williams Gold Pave Ridge Ring: More layers, means fewer accessories.  At least for me, pairing a high neck sweater with a necklace sounds claustrophobic.  Rings are the accessory you can still see even with all the layers of clothing stacked on!  I like this little Pave Ring with the stud detailing in the middle.  I imagine wearing it on my pinky finger OR… pointer?  If you’ve been sleeping on pretty rings, let’s wake up to the idea together.
  10. Pelara Pump:  These heels SPAR-KLE.  If you want twinkling feet, this is how you get there!  Swooooon.  They’re not too high so you can comfortably wear them.  Even with jeans & a t-shirt, these can work! Versatile & the absolutely most stunning sparkle.

I could go on… but 10 seems like a lot.  Let me know your favorite from above 🙂

NOW, let’s quickly mention what’s important –  There’s a lot of new TV shit happening.  Disney + and Apple TV?  I’m assuming Disney + is getting rage because children like watching it?  And I started watching “See” on Apple TV where orgasms are equal to speaking to God sooo there’s that.  I’m in it to win it with the weird shit so I’m going to try wrapping up the “See” series now, let’s see where the road leads.

Have a great rest of the week! Love you.

Be thoughtful

Xx
