10 {NEW} TV Series & Movies You Can Watch Tonight

Did You Know?  “The dinosaur noises in the ‘Jurassic Park’ movie were made from recordings of tortoise sex.” (via)

There’s nothing better than finding a good Netflix list.  It’s arguably better than finding a $20 bill in your pocket.  This list isn’t solely Netflix picks, but why limit ourselves?  It’s 2018, don’t act like Netflix is the only thing you have on your TV’s.

My list is excellent if I do say so myself.  The perfect amount of feel-good, comedy, drama, suspense w a mix between movies & series.  Also, I did my best not to include the obvious: Chef, Orange is the New Black, New Girl, Friends, ect.  If you haven’t already watched those 900 times over, I don’t know how to approach you.

We shall wait no longer…

10 {NEW} TV SERIES & MOVIES YOU CAN WATCH TONIGHT

Grace & Frankie (Netflix): I know I’ve mentioned this Netflix series before but I have to make sure you watched it! There’s no series that leaves you w a better feeling.  You have to get past the 1st episode or 2, then you’ll be hooked.  All ages. Yes.

Gypsy (Netflix):  Gypsy is about a therapist that gets involved with her patients.  I don’t know how I watched every episode, but it had me hooked.  Very saucy & suspenseful… & crazy.

Girlfriend’s Guide To Divorce (Netflix):  If you’re looking for a girl’s girl series this is freaking it.  I’m not divorced & I don’t have kids but still easily connect with the characters.   This series reminds you to give yourself a break!! Cut some slack! Relax & laugh.

Being Mary Jane (Netflix): If you’re depressed Scandal is over & you’re looking for your next drama – Being Mary Jane will fill the hole in your heart.  Tons of drama, beautiful bodies, and badass strong women!  Say no more.

Riverdale (Netflix) I would consider Riverdale my junk TV.  I’ve heard so many people talk about it so I had to see what it’s all about.  (I also loved Lili Reinhart at the Met Gala & became obsessed with her.)  Beware, Riverdale is very teen, but sometimes easy teen TV works.

Glow (Netflix):  I love the main character & her struggle to “make it”.  I think we’ve all been in a situation where we’re broke AF & will try anything to get ahead (ok, not anything).  Glow is about a TV series in the 80’s w women’s wrestling.  Pretty funny & badass.

Set It Up (Netflix): Have you noticed Netflix is coming out w more of their own Romantic Comedies?  They are.  This is one of them, super cute.  Also kinda makes me want to move to New York?

The Handmaids Tale (hulu):  If you’re not watching The Handmaid’s Tale you must be hiding under a big ass rock.  I understand the series is dark, but it’s soooo good.  The way America goes from what we know it as today, to such a regulated country is freaky!  The acting, cinematography, producing, everything is shockingly excellent.  I can’t say enough about this series.

I Feel Pretty (Amazon):  What a fucking great idea, to think pretty.  Helloooo?!  I think all of us ladies need to take notes from this movie.  Get your glass of wine, notebook, and this movie together for a good night in.

I, Tonya (hulu):  I almost didn’t watch this movie because of some negative reviews, but I’m glad I did.  If you know anything about Nancy Kerrigan or Tonya Harding, you’ll appreciate this movie.  It gives you such a different perspective, and I’m all about perspective.

So, have you already seen them or did I give you a few NEW good ones?? Please share what your favorites are, with The Handmaid’s Tale finishing I desperately need something new.   What did I miss?

I just got back from visiting Minnesota & was welcomed to Austin with 109 degree heat.  If anyone tries to tell you they like the heat, or it’s manageable because it’s “dry heat”, they’re fucking lying & should not be trusted.  It’s been a rough few days back, I can proudly admit that! I did manage to get some good reading in & will be sharing a few book reviews later next month.  I’ve been trying to discipline myself into reading more.  The one thing I’ve been hearing all successful people write, suggest, and say is: READ!

Have a great week & be thoughtful

Xx
