A Few Things You Need To Know…
I hope you find relief here. My goal is never to make you feel like you NEED something in your life, rather to inspire you. In whatever way that is. Whether through a new choice in clothing, makeup, thoughts, confidence – whatever! Get inspired beautiful babies, to glow!
You already have everything you absolutely need. Anything additional is probably filling a void honestly. Ha! I need you to keep that mindset for the rest of this post. I have random thoughts coming at you, but what do you expect from me anyway? The best thing I can deliver is bits & pieces of my brain, maybe you’re brain is wired in a similar fashion. Cool.
A Few Things You Need To Know…
If you can’t do anything else, have perspective.
My life problem is overthinking. That manifested into anxious feelings 24/7. One way I manage this is by having my own perspective on any situation. For example, when I learn about the frustrating health care system sick American’s are dealing with or the disturbing story of the 5 boys sent to prison for a crime they didn’t commit (represented in the series “When They See Us“), I can’t help but feel fucking upset. Defeated even. Those examples & the countless others. I’ve always interpreted disasters like this in two ways – either ignore them completely OR let them consume my subconscious mind. But how are either of those things helping anyone? They aren’t. What I’ve learned now is the importance of perspective. Simply KNOWING another side to any story is incredibly powerful. Don’t ignore life or people or stories or differences. Get to know them. If I could ask everyone for one thing, it would be to listen & ask questions to gain full perspective on ANY situation. However small or large. It takes zero effort AND makes a huge difference. The more you know, the more you relate, the more you’ll naturally have compassion, the better the world will be. Trust.
You Can Skip A Work Out
Or 2… or 3. You know you don’t have to work out today? That’s cool right. Listen, I’m the girl on Instagram showing off all my workouts because I think it’s a positive way to motivate others. I’m sitting on the couch flipping through my 5th hour of Netflix & get up to move my body because everyone else is doing it. There are a lot of benefits to sharing workouts on Instagram. BUT, sometimes you can’t workout. Sometimes, you’re injured. Sick. Hurt. or Weak. Don’t let Instagram pressure you too much! Positive, motivating, encouraging Instagram messages can be exhausting. Even though they’re posted w great intention, sometimes you can’t handle the pressure of having an excellent, hard working, highly productive, hardcore workout day. Anyone else? They have their time & place, but sometimes it’s ok to do nothing. Take however long you need to rest. You’ll get on your feet when your body is ready. You’re number 1, so do what’s best for you.
Lipstick & Lip Liner: you don’t need both.
Who the fuck has time to line their lips & use a lipstick…and gloss?? Everyday? Did Kylie Jenner do this to us? Who’s responsible for this?
You’re Doing A Fucking Incredible Job, Already
You know you’re already a hero? Everyone I’ve talked to about going to therapy or anxiety or depression or stress is trying to get somewhere. Or feels blah, but you know you’re already doing a fucking amazing job. I mean it. YOU ARE DOING AN INCREDIBLE JOB. I know this. Because you’re here, you’re making it again, another day at a pace that’s meant for you, and only you. WTF I can’t believe how good you’re doing, it’s making my jealous. The only way you could ever possibly be SUCKING, is if you’re blatantly mean & not trying to be better. If you’re that person, go to yoga & therapy to work through it so the world can be a better place. We’re all in this together. OMG I’m so proud of you today, right now.

Round of applause to the people that are able to manage multiple levels of friendships that quickly compound throughout the years, and round of applause to the people who have that one friend they invest in while working to find another incredible human being. 1 or 100 – either way es ok.
