A Few Fall Favorites For Your Wardrobe

Did You Know?  “According to the Henley Passport Index, compiled by global citizenship and residence advisory firm Henley & PartnersCitizens, Japan now has the most powerful passport on the planet.  Having gained visa-free access to Myanmar earlier this month, Japanese citizens can now enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to a whopping 190 destinations around the world — knocking Singapore, with 189 destinations, into second place.”   (via)

Are we cold yet?  Everyone started pulling out their sweaters & jackets because fall is here! If you have a shopping addiction like me – you stop, look at your inventory & wonder why you kept everything in your closet for so long.  I wore these sweaters 398 times last winter, they need to go.  Time to start scrolling through the new, soft, warm fall clothes!

Fall clothes are my favorite.  Super soft, cozy, warm tones, and comfortable.  Winter is honestly too many layers. just. stay. warm. style.  And summer is hot AF.  Sweaty. Just keep me cool style.  Fall is the sweet spot in the middle. I love it.

A Few Fall Favorites For Your Wardrobe

Fine-Knit Red Sweater: Bright red is making a statement this fall, I’m seeing it & liking it!  Such a bold color for the season but I’m not complaining.  This sweater is bold & bright enough to take you through the winter months too.  Bright red works on anyone so don’t be afraid of its vibrancy.

Red Stripe Sleeve Sweater: If you don’t want to go all out with the red sweater, try this one.  Oversized, cozy, and simple red detailing.  Not to mention, I’m in love w this brand (here).

Oversized Sweater:  I snagged this piece at Zara the other day & lived in since the cooler weather hit Austin.  It’s incredibly comfortable & I’m loving the stripe of color.  It comes in a few other colors too!  Check out Zara for other fall options, I wanted some of everything last time I stopped in there…

Kork-Ease Burgundy Bootie:  I have a similar pair of boots from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale earlier this year & I love them!  They’re super comfortable to walk in, the color is what makes me love the fall season, & you can tell they’re high quality.  I know I’ll be wearing these to their last limb.  Absolutely perfect for fall.

Corduroy Yellow Dress:  Corduroy is very much happening this season & I’m still digging tones of yellow for fall.  This cute dress works perfectly to transition into cooler months.  Here in Austin TX, I can throw a sweater underneath with some boots, but in colder areas you can also pair with tights & a jacket.  I love this color, corduroy, price point, and styling options made easy!

Something Navy Fringe Trim Muffler:  A scarf is an important accessory to bring out in the fall because it can easily be thrown on when you need just a little extra warmth, or stored in your purse with the wavering temperatures.  You know I’m all on board with the Something Navy brand at Nordstrom, and this scarf is a piece that is still in stock and available. The bigger, softer, and cozier – the better when it comes to scarves.  The neutral color makes it easy to match almost any outfit.

Even though it’s fall, I’ll still be pairing all these pieces with a fresh at-home tanning application, HA!  Although I’ve been mesmerized w Lady Gaga after watching the A Star is Born – she’s very much light skin in all of her interviews so maybe that’s something I’ll have to experiment with.

In other news, I’ve moved into my brand new apartment!  Super exciting for a lot of reasons.  I’m hoping it’s a fresh start as my last place felt a little tainted with my allergy situation, the flood and a few other bad omens.  Needless to say, I’m ready to rock in a new home! Now it’s just about getting settled in, comfortable, and diving into my next work adventures.

Be thoughtful.

Xx
