5 Favorite Quotes on Health
I wouldn’t consider myself a quote junkie, but I do have a few that I reference as a quick reminder. If you find a few quotes that motivate & support you – you’ll always have a backbone to fall on when you lose focus.
In order to provide the most value, I stuck a theme: HEALTH. Particularly, your physical body. Most of these quotes can easily apply to other areas of your life, so take them as you wish.

Not having time or money to take care of your body is NOT an excuse. Whenever I’m feeling unmotivated, I remind myself of this exact quote. (I need it often.)
I was chatting with a woman much older than myself at a workout class a long time ago. I told her I couldn’t believe how motivated she was at every single workout, such a freaking machine. (She RAN to class, participated in class, and RAN home! WITH a weighted vest on?!) She always had the greatest attitude with everyone, supporting beginners, working on her form & providing encouragement. Anyway, she told me that day with a huge smile on her face – my health motivates me. I have so many friends that are not mobile, can’t run or even walk, can’t go outside or don’t have their health. I have health & the ability to move. I love being able to use that gift every single day. Staying inside & still feels like a waste. And since that day, I’ve viewed exercise differently. Health in general, everything we CAN do we should be grateful for, but also participate in. Exercising is absolutely a celebration of the gift of health!

I think exercising, mental health, food, alcohol, & sugar can all be scary things when we’re making a decision to change them… don’t believe me? Try it!
