Missbassmaster Favorite Posts of 2017
Did You Know? In 2017 – “A New Jersey man named Jimmie Smith was watching TV one day in May when he saw a news report about a $24.1 million dollar New York Lottery prize that hadn’t been claimed—and was about to expire. He went to his closet and checked the pocket of an old shirt, where he had stuck a stack of tickets—and sure enough, the winning ticket was in there! (via)
For anyone that hasn’t had a chance to read my old posts, below are a few of my favorites from 2017! Enjoy!
Dating A Muslim Immigrant… During The “Muslim Ban”
Tis a sign of the times… I love this post because, Wafiq. What an interesting time it was. We happened to just be finishing our own immigration journey during this time & learned TONS of immigration info we never knew before. Which I think is why we were super comfortable. Even though people were freaking out. I remember we were happy, lucky & together 🙂
A Lot Of Lovin in Monterrey, Mexico
Reading this post made me feel overwhelmed with love all over again! This was such a loving trip, and love truly is the appropriate word to describe it. I totally mean it when I say I want to go back to Monterrey & visit. On my list!
My all time favorite topic: Bronze Skin // Tips & Trick to Self Tanning
Can I get a hallelujah, can I can an Amen!? I could defend & discuss spray tanning for my entire existence. Literally, every time I see someone outside tanning OR with a real tan, I want to ask so many questions. Why? WHY?! Please spray tan. Please ask me about it.
College. Don’t Do It!
I can’t believe I put this post out there. I feel like it’s such an evil thing to say. BUT, having read the entire post through again, I can tell I put a lot of time into what I was trying to convey. And I still love everything I said. And I would still recommend anyone thinking about big changes to read it.
What no one tells you about – Jury Duty.
Because – what. the. fuck. This post will forever be a read I’ll reference. I’m not done learning from my experience on Jury Duty. I hope I never lose what it taught me, and keep my eyes wide. This won’t be the last time you’ll hear me talk about this topic.
Did I miss any good ones?? Going through all the posts was a good exercise for me, I definitely have more direction heading into 2018! WOO HOO!
Off to watch Godless on Netflix, see if it’s any good. Not typically into Western’s, but always into women 😉
Go out & be thoughtful!
