5 Favorite Black Friday Sweaters Still On Sale
The past few years the ONE thing I stalk up on during Black Friday are sweaters. I find a good sweater to be too dang expensive throughout the year, but at 50% off you can grab a few at very gorgeous pricepoints. I ordered several from all the stores offering sales & narrowed it down to my favorites.
Fair warning, I’m listening to Christmas music as I’m writing so we’ll see what kind of tone that gives me. I had orders from JCrew, Gap, Old Navy, American Eagle, Asos, Nordstrom & Express! I typically order everything that looks decent, try them all on, and only keep my favorites. It’s a freaking mess. But, I’d rather buy everything at the affordable price, then deal with returns later. 5 Black Friday Sweaters You Can Still Get On Sale
1:: American Eagle Slouchy Turtleneck Sweater – This sweater is a fucking winner for COMFORT. You want something on a day you’re not feeling 100% but still want to look together – this sweater is your answer. I’ve been on the allergy struggle bus & have been wearing this sweater on repeat because it’s so comfortable & easy. Very oversized in the right ways, not too fuzzy or claustrophobic, and a ton of color options.
2:: Old Navy Cable-Knit Crew Neck Sweater: Yep, Old Navy for the win this year. I’m telling you, I tried on 41,593 sweaters and this one immediately made my must keep pile. Super comfortable, the right fit, quality, and the grey color is so dang pretty. All the colors were really stand out, but the grey one was calling my name. The red one has my eyes too.
3:: Express Velvet Chenille Bateau Neck Sweater: Out of my entire try-on haul this sweater received the most comments, people like the color & so do I! At first, I was hesitant because I thought the color might be too fall & won’t take me through winter. Once I tried it on, visioned it with a bright red lip, I was SOLD! Absolute love. This sweater is very lightweight chenille, super comfortable & the color is spot on. Definitely a KEEP. If you’re someone who’s used to buying blacks, browns, and whites – try this as a little color addition.
4:: JCrew Mockneck Sweater: When I tried on all of my JCrew sweaters, I could immediately tell the quality in the fabric is exceptional. Each sweater was incredibly soft & durable. And with the sales they’ve been having, I’m 100% on board with them. This sweater in particular has an excellent fit, not too tight but not too loose. The fabric is buttery, the color is vibrant, and the line detail on the arms is especially slimming. Another must-have from my black Friday shopping.
5:: Express Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater: The perfect turtleneck. The fabric & fit couldn’t be better! I tried on a few turtlenecks and found plenty that didn’t make the list – something around the armpit didn’t match up to fit my body. I don’t need a fitted sweater to start stretching out & fitting weird. No, thank you. Express was the only place I decided to keep a fitted turtleneck from, and I can highly recommend it!
I’m telling you guys, I tried on a shit TON of sweaters from a huge range of stores & the above list is a compilation of sweaters I immediately knew I had to keep. Again, if they aren’t on sale now, keep an eye open for upcoming sales. I’ve seen them pop on and off sale the past few weeks & I’m predicting that will continue throughout the winter season. I will say, all of them, even full price would be well worth purchasing.
I’m going to keep working on a mirror set up situation so I can do more try-on hauls. If I’m going to be going through this cycle of ordering-returning-ordering-returning I might as well share what I find!
