Life Chats: acne, black friday, & pecan pie
Let’s chat about life today, shall we?
Let’s chat about life today, shall we?
If you read Wafiq’s interview for my first People With Katie post, you’ll know what’s coming today. I interviewed Ashley Davis, the founder of the natural beauty brand Baja Basics.
Happy Thanksgiving! My favorite holiday of the year! Thanksgiving means no pressure of gifts, only pressure to eat delicious foods with friends & family.
Holiday season gift guides are running rampant. They’re everywhere, and they’re necessary. Unlike the last 5+ years of holiday seasons, I’m in a cheerful mood this year which is a relief to myself (& those around me I’m sure).
One of my favorite conversation topics as of recently is: BOOKS! I’m trying not to let myself slow down at the risk of losing the hobby completely.
I’m so proud of these fall & winter finds! They’re pretty much all affordable & I think they would bring a great refresh to the clothing you already have in the closet, an addition if you will. No need to throw anything out, let’s just add to it.
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned the past 3+ years comes from small talk. Usually, small talk occurs with people you don’t know very well but need to quickly fill the silence. Well, those conversations added up to these big lessons.
Trying to stay positive during the dark winter is challenging. The urge to go to bed at 6:30pm is real. I’ve seriously contemplated that idea, ultimately realizing I would end up waking up at 10pm as my body would think I was taking a nap.
And we’re back! With more MENS clothing! It doesn’t get any more exciting than this, honestly.
If you’ve ever wondered to yourself (& I mean ever) “where’s that from?”. I can say with almost certainty – it’s from Amazon. Amazon controls the world.
What a crazy few weeks it’s been! Do you know what’s annoying though? People who say they’re busy.
Holy smokes! This is what I’m doing now. I’m sick of reading my own posts over & over again so I decided to start asking other people to come on board & share their story.
