I don’t get to brag about my doggie very much here. Although I exploit her via Instagram often, I try not to bombard posts w my Bernice obsession online. However, today it’s her Birthday so I wanted to share a story.
I’m definitely going hard on the crazy cat lady {but actually dog lady} status lately. I recently gave you 3 tips to raising a naughty puppy, into a sweetie dog. Then, celebrated my Bernice’s birthday, and now I’m dropping the dog food & treat bomb on you too. What can I say, no human kids to exploit, I work with what I have.
You’re thinking about getting a puppy. Now what? I have you covered. If you’re going to do this right, a puppy is a lot of work. Whenever I see a cute puppy picture I do the opposite of a lot of people & let out a ginormous sigh. Puppy’s look precious & cute, but they have the actual devil inside of them, disguised by soft fluffy fur. & the devil that had 17 cups of coffee this AM. I may have pushed the boundaries a little with my maturity & adopting Bernice because I don’t think I fully understood it would be like having a human 2 yr old. The nice thing is, it doesn’t have to be out of control for very long if you train the puppy right.
Lucky for me, I made 3 decisions in the very beginning with Bernice that makes her the easy dog that I have now.
I can’t believe it’s already August. I’m actually okay with that because, as much as the rest of Austin is loving to complain about the heat, I’m grateful it hasn’t been worse! Sure, it’s been 106+ everyday but it’s August… in Texas. Wouldn’t we be concerned if it was any other way? Not to mention a few years ago we were 110+ for a record number of days before we saw August 1.
I’m not viewing the city as a tourist on vacation, therefore I feel like I don’t have interesting travel advice or a way for you to live a vacation through my eyes because I feel like that’s not what I’m doing. I wish.
I told myself before I moved out of the United States that I wouldn’t blog about my dog, Bernice, until I could write that she was with me. I would put a photo of us happy and together
