The time is HERE!

Awwwwwww, the time has finally come for my big announcement! After almost 1 and a half years in Dubai – I’m MOVING back to the homeland hemisphere on April 15th!

Plane Ticket – √

I have so many questions for myself and probably have so many questions to answer for family and friends:

Where am I moving? Back to Austin? Home to Minnesota? Somewhere new?

Where are you going to work? Real Estate? Something different?

Is Wafiq coming with you? What is he going to do? What does he think?

   How am I feeling?

Yep.  All fantastic questions….

The problem – I just don’t know how to answer any of them.. AHHH! For the first time, in all my times relocating, I really feel like I don’t have a plan. I’m literally going day by day following my gut. And the STRANGEST part of the whole sha-bang is that I’m not totally freaked out about it! Maybe I’m too laid back? I don’t think so. I just feel deep down, to go back home > debrief from this experience > and get back out there on my next adventure.

Of course there’s a mix of nerves, anxiety, and excitement all packed in one human brain, but I feel good. I always told myself I would stay in Dubai for 1 – 2 years and I landed in the middle – so I feel ready for change. I’m confident of the learning + life experience I gained while being in Dubai. I’m leaving extremely proud of myself. Mission complete.

And I think the reason I’m not panicking that I have no clue what so ever of what’s next – could come from the fact that I’m older? Wiser? Smarter?

Just kidding, that’s ridiculous. Wiser? HA! But, it could come from the realization that every other time I’ve moved: I panic. I stress myself out while I try to get everything in order and make my “plan”.

Then the plan fails – MISERABLY.

{Every. Single. Damn. Time. Very frustrating.}  So this time around, I’m going to try to meditate. And possible focus on my breath. While I send out my resume. And just relax, enjoy my life, and be proud that I’m living it and a new adventure is around the corner.

Everything happens the way it’s supposed to and I’m trusting this cray cray path I’m on 🙂

WOO HOO! Here we go!
